Why are children important to the nation?

Children are very important to the nation’s present and its future hence the need to have policies documented to guide their welfare. Almost every nation has policies documented to guide the wellbeing of children and Ghana is no exception. Find out some child welfare resources every Ghanaian must read.

The United States Government, through USAID, has supported the Government of Ghana and UNICEF to develop these tools. They were developed as part of a programmed to accelerate the Care Reform Initiative between the Government of the United States and Ghana, which aims to ensure that children are living in a protective and loving family.
